The sector of O Berton, corresponding to the sector PP1 R including in the PXOM the City Council of Ferrol, complete the urban structure among Gándara's polygon and the Avenues of the Pious and the Trincheira. Its boundaries are well defined by the general system of road access to the city, on the northwest borders on the road to the Trincheira which separate it from the areas of urban land and urban land of Ponza and Ponte das Cabras, on the nort-east with the Avenue Nicasio Perez axis of commercial and industrial development of the Gándara; to the south with the Avenida das Pias, which relates it to Caranza's residential Polygon(Zone) and Bazán's housings, one of the avenues of Principal Access to the city and relationship with the county.
It is one of the most important areas of Ferrol's opportunity, linked to the construction of a new urban facade of the town itself regained access by Gándara and the Avenida das Pías.
The organization relies primarily on two axes, one formed by the existing Avenida das Pías, remodeled in Boulevard, and another newly created as a boulevard that connects the interior of polygon Caranza and the sitting of new municipal endowed by the town hall (Auditorium and Conservatory to Nicasio Perez's avenue and the new service centers A Gandara.
